Restored to its original Victorian and Edwardian splendour, Shoreditch Town Hall, in the heart of one of London's most vibrant creative districts, is just a stone's throw from the City of London. With its mix of grand public rooms and smaller intimate spaces, Shoreditch Town Hall offers a unique venue for events including corporate entertainment, private parties, wedding/civil partnership ceremonies and receptions, trade shows, exhibitions, meetings, training days, launches, fashion shows, award ceremonies and community events.
With no tied suppliers or corkage charges and discounted hire charges offered to UK registered charities, Shoreditch Town Hall offers a distinctive and flexible option for a wide range of events and activities.
On the ground floor is the Council Chamber, the original Victorian Vestry Hall dating from 1865. With its wooden floors, and glorious chandeliers, the Council Chamber can hold 200 people for a reception and 120 people for a conference or dinner. Adjoining the Council Chamber is the Mayor's Parlour, an elegant room with stained glass windows, perfect for smaller meetings, receptions, and ceremonies.
On the first floor is the breathtaking Assembly Hall, a dramatic Edwardian room with a Rococo balcony, decorative arches and a stage, making it perfect for receptions and conferences accommodating up to 600 + delegates and dinners for up to 400 guests.
Shoreditch Town Hall also has three former Committee Rooms, which are ideal as break-out rooms or for meetings, workshops, training days and smaller events.
All six rooms, as well as the atmospheric Basement, are licensed for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies, offering several options for that special day - whether there are a few dozen or a few hundred guests.
Whatever you're planning, our team will work with you throughout to make sure that your event is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
