A ‘blank canvas’ for any event, Canvas and The Key have the space and flexibility that is usually hard to find in London. Situated in the former Bagley’s Bottles warehouse behind King’s Cross with a capacity of 300 to 2500 guests, the venue provides an ideal space for any size of event. With a grand chandeliered entrance, the venue can be dressed to suit any theme or brief. The Foyer Bar is ideal for a more intimate setting while the upper rooms provide vast, flexible, interconnecting space ideal for anything from fashion shows and product launches to large dining events. The Key can be hired independently of Canvas for parties up to 300 and with its groovy illuminated dancefloor, it is a truly unique venue space.
The Foyer Bar is an intimate reception space with heavy wooden support beams that give the room great character. Alcoves are decked out with funky leather daybeds that will encourage your guests to get really comfortable. The Foyer Bar is perfect for a smaller party or is ideal for a drinks reception for a larger event utilising the entire venue.
The upper level houses the main spaces of Canvas which are laid out in three interconnecting studios, each with in-house lighting, sound and DJ equipment. With a permanent stage, Studio One is perfect for live music, fashion shows and conferences. Vaulted ceilings, painted brickwork and stripped wood floors lend a raw, urban feel to these rooms. Studio Two leads on from Studio One and is the ideal space for a seated dinner, with guests moving into Studio One for dancing afterwards. There is also access to a plush VIP room which can accommodate 50 of your most important guests. Studio Three has a slightly more intimate feel. It is the perfect space to dress as a chill-out area for a large party or to use as a break-out area for conferences and workshops.
Location Work - Canvas and The Key are very flexible spaces for all film, TV and music video location work. The raw and urban warehouse offers a multitude of possibilities both inside and outside the venue.
