Franco's Restaurant & Bar

Franco's is now attracting a serious food lead following. The Michelin Guide, Time Out, Tattler and Decanter have all recently noticed the quality of food being prepared by Head Chef Stefano Turconi. The restaurant and bar, no stranger to St James's has been in situ since 1946 but was given a complete makeover in 2005.

The first menu of the day would be breakfast, offering a continental or the full cooked breakfast. The set lunch at £22 for two courses and £26 for three is almost as popular as the changing daily specials and varied lunch a la carte menu.

Afternoon shoppers make a bee line for outside tables later in the day for Afternoon tea, scones and clotted cream. Just before those going to the theatre arrive for our theatre menu at £16 for two courses or £20 for three. The a la carte dinner menu, with a specific salad, grill section and daily specials, ensure that the most discerning of eater has plenty of options.

Franco's takes great pride in its wine list. Predominately Italian most of the key wine regions of Italy are represented. Where possible we have tried to offer an entry level wine, mid range and best example. It is in Tuscany that we have the most fun with some of the largest collections of 'Super Tuscans'.
Each summer we expand our rosé wine list to include rosé wines from around the world. At over 50 rosé wines we believe that it is the largest in Europe!

Franco's large private dining room can be split in two creating two private rooms. Opened up the larger room can seat up to 60 guests on separate table or up to 34 on one long table. The smaller room when divided can seat up to 18 guests on one table.
