National Media Museum

Overview

The National Media Museum offers five floors of inspirational galleries all housed behind a magnificent glazed front, with panoramic city views. Museum galleries range from the elegant and traditional Kodak Gallery which presents a fascinating history from the world's first photographs to the digital imagery of today; to the highly interactive Experience TV where guests can try their hand at being a casting director, vision mixing a soap opera, using a studio camera or reading the news. Dedicated conference spaces and auditoria are also available for seminars, product launches and award ceremonies, as well as a giant IMAX® cinema for an out-of-the-ordinary experience. Special rates are available for corporate bookings, while private screenings can also be arranged.

Event TV is an innovative new team-building experience brought to you by the National Media Museum, offering an opportunity to use the Museum's on-site TV Studio to create your own television programme. With the clock ticking away to live transmission, you and your team will script, rehearse, 'star' in, film and edit your own TV show - be it a local news feed, chat show or sitcom - and work together to ensure that it goes 'live' on time. Choose from flexible full day, half day or mini taster packages, subject to your budget and time restraints. Whether you choose Event TV as an away-day activity or incorporate it as an ice-breaker to your event, we guarantee that everyone will have an unforgettable day and DVD's of the programme will be provided to all team members for a lasting memento!
