The May Fair

Overview

A £75 million refurbishment has seen the May Fair Hotel re-born to reclaim its traditional place as one of THE most stylish addresses in London. New features include the Crystal ballroom, the May Fair Theatre – the capital's largest private screening room at 201 seats, the Amba bar and grill, the May Fair Spa and seven stunning signature suites. A legendary venue - for chic, compact meetings or large-scale luxury for up to 350.

A legendary hotel with an iconic past, the May Fair was opened by King George V in 1927 and since became an A-list playground for the Hollywood set. An extensive refurbishment has seen the May Fair re-born and fast becoming one of London's most talked-about hotels.

In the heart of London's original luxury quarter, between Berkeley Square and Piccadilly, the May Fair's 15 meeting rooms come with cutting edge technology, dedicated event managers and complimentary wireless throughout. Refreshingly, most enjoy natural daylight, including a spacious Atrium. Individually designed spaces coupled with a discreet yet attentive service make for memorable private dining experiences, from intimate lunches for four to lavish receptions for up to 350.

The May Fair Theatre, with professional THX certification for the ultimate in film sound, is London's largest private screening room, seating 201 in the comfort of Italian leather seats. The new Crystal Room, with its own Berkeley Street entrance, is destined to be the capital's hottest event venue. Inspiring décor includes the largest Baccarat chandelier ever commissioned in Europe, worth over £1 million.

The May Fair Bar has been re-designed to become one of the most desirable meeting places in the West End, the place to see and be seen in Mayfair. The destination restaurant, Amba bar and grill, offers seasonal British cooking with a modern twist. And Mayfair's most sophisticated Spa offers an oasis of calm and relaxation.

There are seven new individually-designed signature suites, and the largest deluxe and superior bedrooms in London at 35 square metres.

When the occasion demands, it has to be the May Fair.
