After transforming the club formally known as Tatty Bogle into an art deco inspired members' bar with a kitsch chic twist, Bureau was launched at the end of 2008 as the 'anti-club club' of the major nightspots. Tucked away and only to be found by the ones in the know, the intimate venue opened up with an exclusive night featuring Parisian DJ Jerry Bouthier (Interviewed in Select 62) and music legend New Order. Living up to its expectations, the basement boÎte hosted exclusive events for Roisin Murphy, London's creative club kids, and Grace Jones' Roundhouse after show party.
With a limited capacity of only a 120 persons, Bureau is a home away from home members-only establishment creating a party place for like-minded social aficionados. Service and attention to detail are of the utmost standards varying from personalised play lists, to a bespoke cocktail menu based on the guests' tipple of choice. The architect, Satmoko Ball designed this discreet hide out that also plays home to film nights, art salons and book readings.
Whether you are looking for a social space for a tête-à-tête, business meeting or lunch, Bureau can accommodate your highest expectation.
